July 13 - 17
Beginners Online Digital Arts Camp:

A great introductory course for those who are just beginning to explore 2D digital art! The class will be guided step-by-step through a series of easy projects designed to help students learn the basic tools for digital painting and photo-collage. The overall goal will be to have students gain more experience with the program as well as more familiarity with different art styles so they can become more independent and better express their creativity on their own.

*All students must use their own iPads/mobile tablets with the Adobe Sketch app throughout the entire duration of camp. Pressure-sensitive stylus is highly recommended, but not mandatory. Please make sure all devices are charged fully before each class to make sure batteries don’t run out and students don’t get disconnected from the virtual classroom.

July 20 - 24
Intermediate Online Digital Arts Camp:

For those who have some experience with digital art, but are looking for ways to expand their 2D digital painting and photo-collage skills! Throughout the week, students will be guided through a few longer-term projects focusing on mid-level tools, techniques, styles and subjects. The class will start working in Adobe Sketch, and will learn how to migrate projects into other Adobe apps to achieve different effects.

*All students must use their own iPads/mobile tablets, and start with the Adobe Sketch app. Other Adobe apps will have to be downloaded throughout the week, per teacher’s instructions. Pressure-sensitive stylus is highly recommended, but not mandatory. Please make sure all devices are charged fully before each class to make sure batteries don’t run out and students don’t get disconnected from the virtual classroom.

July 27 - 31
Advanced Online Digital Arts Camp:

A camp designed to push skill boundaries and challenge the creativity of those who enjoy creating more serious digital work, and are very familiar/comfortable with their own software and hardware. Throughout the week, students will be introduced to a handful of 2D painting styles, photo-collage techniques, subjects and exercises popular in the entertainment industry. After a quick tutorial introducing each project, students will have the creative freedom to elaborate on the instructor’s themes. By the end of the week, everyone will have their own unique mini-collection of work that could be included in either a fun or professional portfolio!

*All students must use their own hardware/software throughout the duration of camp. The instructor will be demonstrating in Photoshop CC for desktop, but students can use their favorite Digital art programs as long as they are experienced using it. Pressure-sensitive stylus is very highly recommended, but not mandatory. Please make sure all devices are charged fully before each class to make sure batteries don’t run out and students don’t get disconnected from the virtual classroom.
